That way, there is no writing on the cup to fade away from dishwasher use. I would have to hand wash all my other measuring cups so that the printing wouldn't fade away. I purchased the embossed measuring cup so I could put it in the dishwasher. I'll have to compare other brands to find out which are accurate, but for now, I can't use this for anything where accuracy matters. |
